We Human Beings

We human beings, have the worst evil of all:
Pride.
We create our own means of glory and self-protection.
That's why I like the Gospel of Jesus Christ dying in a Cross for me.
Something I still don't understand.
Something that I still struggle to understand.
Something that, I pray to God that He grants me the grace of faith.

We human beings, have the worst flaw of all:
Sin and death.
I put them as one, cuz the one cannot be without the other.
We like our sin, but we are afraid of death.
How could it be?
That's why I like the Gospel of Jesus Christ dying in a Cross for My Sin;
So I won't die.
Something I try to understand.
Something I guess I understand.
Something that, because of my pride,
I misunderstand.

We human beings, have the most stupid feature of all:
We hate when people points at our flaws.
We try to justify all our actions and desires.
We think that "You Only Live Once", or stuff like that.
That's why I like the Gospel of Jesus Christ dying in a Cross, the death I deserve;
with NO Justification.
Something I understood.
Something I try to submit to God's Sovereignty.
Something that, because of my sin and pride,
I hate to listen.

Listening that There was a Man...
In the year 33 A.D.
Called Jesus, living in Israel,
lived a clean-sheet life.
The Perfect Life.
And He claimed to be the Son of God Himself...
Sometimes gives me great joy,
but my pride, sin and self-justification
makes me doubt.

But knowing my life, how it was...
Knowing, that there is nothing I do,
That can change the sin in my life...
Knowing where I was.
Who saved me:
It wasn't psychology, it wasn't science.
It was the touch of God, trough Jesus...
I know to whom I cried out...
I'm not dumb.

My pride is my sin and death.
My pride is my self-justification.
My pride makes me create idols.
My pride makes me trust in myself.
My pride makes me get astray.
My pride makes me doubt.

But know that Jesus died for that pride too.
Scriptures says that Jesus died for all my sins, right?
I'll take that for my pride too.

We human beings have the best handicap of all:
God so loved the world, that He gave His Only begotten Son,
so that WHOMEVER believes in Him, not perish, but gets Eternal Life.

And that, folks...It's for Real!...
